UK Violins is a family run business which has been collecting and dealing violins for over 40 years. We originated purely to supply the country's biggest dealers in London and overseas with quality antique instruments.
Now three generations later, UK Violins is headed by the grandson of the family, Adam who aims to supply a wider audience with fantastic antique instruments. Our violins are set up, fully restored and made ready to play by our network of esteemed qualified luthiers, hand picked to be most suited to each job. Each luthier has a wealth of knowledge and experience of professional violin making and repairing.
With a showroom already in Lancashire, we regularly travel the length and breadth of the country visiting customers in the comfort of their own home, rehearsal space or even concert hall. For example, we maintain close links with the city of York, see our page on York Violins, along with Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool which are only around 60 minutes away. We tend to personally visit customers in these areas once a week and are regularly available to showcase instruments or discuss restorations, set ups or valuations, etc.
However, wherever your location, please feel free to contact us and we can arrange a time and a place for you to try our instruments. We are quite often on the road meeting customers and searching for instruments to add to our stock, so if Lancashire is a little too far away, we may be passing by your local area in the not so distant future and can always arrange to meet if mutually convenient.
