Amédée Dieudonné born in 1890 was a prolific maker from France throughout the early 20th Century, beginning his career under the guidance of Gustave Bazin, eventually making his way over to workshops in Brussels before settling in his hometown of Mirecourt in 1924.
This splendid violin is in perfect condition and has one of the most striking backs we have ever seen with a very beautiful orange red glowing varnish.
The back is branded and signed by Dieudonné along with the original labels.
The length of the back is 355 mm.
